I had been bothered by a few tea/coffee stains around the gumline, but I did not feel seeing a hygienist was necessary at this point.
At first, I was a little scared about this electric tartar remover as the needle looks very sharp.
However, I felt very comfortable, just like using my Panasonic electric toothbrush. This stain remover had done a great job to remove the stains, but the needle did not hurt my gums. I feel my teeths are cleaner and healthier, and I defintely feel more confident.
I would recommend to use this stain remover with "pre-wash," such as Plax, which softens the calculus residues and makes the process even smoothier.
